In locations where industrial plants have
operated and then been shutdown or landfills have been established
and then closed, the need for contaminated soil identification
and remediation is becoming an ever-increasing necessity.
Although not as highly publicized as asbestos and lead remediation,
the removal and proper recycling or disposal of contaminated
soil is equally as important to our environment. Wing Environmental is at
the forefront for this type of work and has developed procedures
that allow the cleanup process to be performed more efficiently
and cost effective for the client, while providing the ultimate
in environmental protection.
The
goal of Wing Environmental regarding soil remediation is to
not just cleanup a site by moving the material from one place
to another, but to specifically identify the hazardous components
and establish a plan which allows the maximum amount of recycling
and reusage of the product. Through Wing Environmental’s
recycling plan, properties once thought too expensive to remediate
now have the ability to be cleaned up and made useful.
